Fire Safety Staff Training Courses

Having carried out the fire risk assessment and implemented the fire precautions it identified, all that remains is to train your staff in exactly what to do in the event of fire.
Our courses are designed to be both enjoyable and informative, ensuring your staff are better able to protect themselves, their colleagues and your property, as well as meeting your legal obligations. Containing a blend of discussion, presentations and hands-on practical experience, our courses are tailored to suit your premises.
We can bring the training session to you, all we require is access to a meeting room and use of an outside space. If it is more convenient for you we can also offer fire training sessions at our Northampton training facility. Each attending delegate receives a certificate.
Contact Allied Fire & Safety today by filling out the contact form to that right, or please do feel free to give us a call on 0309 4600600 to discuss your specific requirements and to check course availability.

TRAINING COURSES

FIRE EXTINGUISHER EXPERIENCE TRAINING

Our qualified and experienced training staff will demonstrate how to use a fire extinguisher in the event fire and will invite staff to get hands-on experience by setting off LIVE fire extinguishers in order to see how the appliances work.

There is nothing quite like “hands-on” practical experience, to increase the ability and enhance the confidence of staff, when dealing with situations outside of their normal routine.

FIRE WARDEN & FIRE MARSAL

Our Fire Warden and Fire Marshal Training courses are held periodically throughout the year and can be standalone or shared courses. Availability can be difficult at busy periods.

Both courses identify and allow delegates to handle and use a live fire extinguisher. Your staff will also receive a more in-depth knowledge, regarding the risks of fire and its outcome, if left unchecked, they will learn how to complete a fire drill and what to look out for in the event of a real fire emergency.

The course material contains a Fire checklist which can be easily adapted to any workplace and act as a reminder for checks that should be regularly carried out.

Course materials include a workbook with detailed information. Each candidate will receive a “Fire Warden / Fire Marshal” High Visibility Vest to be worn over clothing or uniform when the fire-drill is being undertaken.
